When John Atkinson Grimshaw married his spouse, Theodosia Hubbard, they lived in a really small home in Leeds, and though he longed to color, they’d inadequate cash to permit him to surrender his job engaged on the railways. Within the evenings, he loved going for walks along with his spouse via the darkened streets and woodlands of the Leeds suburbs, after which impressed by this he would go house and paint. These data of moonlit walks now represent the essence of Grimshaw’s recognition and repute as a painter. By 1861, he was profitable sufficient as an artist to surrender his daytime job and commit his profession solely to portray.
