Mucha was established as a number one poster artist between 1895 and 1900. Throughout this era, six posters by him appeared in Les Maîtres de l’Affiche, Jules Chéret’s month-to-month publication that includes the perfect posters of the time chosen by him. Additionally from that point, Mucha’s distinctive type was referred to as ‘le type Mucha’, turning into synonymous with the present ‘Artwork Nouveau’ type.
